Hill House I is a new townhouse designed for a steep infill site in Pittsburgh’s Polish Hill neighborhood. The residence responds directly to the site’s dramatic topography, stepping with the hillside to organize levels of living space within compact urban footprint. 

The project transforms the challenges of a steep hillside into opportunities for natural light, framed views, outdoor living, and a direct architectural relationship with Pittsburgh’s landscape and urban fabric.
